description

- Marktech Optoelectronics is a leading manufacturer of UV visible, near-infrared, and short wavelength infrared (SWIR) emitters, detectors, and materials including InP epiwafers. Marktech optimizes the performance of customers' applications and can design custom components and assemblies with manufacturers of any size.
Marktech Optoelectronics, located in Latham, New York, just outside of Albany, was established in 1985 as an engineering, design, and testing facility with strategic relationships with some of the leading manufacturers of optoelectronic components.
From the beginning, Marktech has worked with test equipment manufacturers to focus on optical characteristics such as wavelength sorting and power output binning. Their team of skilled engineers and technicians are able to test for all electrical and optical characteristics in a timely manner and also examine all optical components from the die level up. With years of expertise in the optoelectronics industry, Marktech's engineers can even create custom LED and detector components and assemblies to meet your specific requirements. This unique engineering and testing expertise is one reason that Marktech was appointed as the Exclusive Value-Added Distributor for Toshiba America in the early 1990s.
Today, Marktech is a Cree Solution Provider for high brightness LEDs and materials. They also manufacture their own line of visible and IR sensors, photo detectors, and InP epiwafers.
