RLE's WiNG wireless and Wi-Fi sensors were the company’s biggest seller in Q2 2020. Mission-critical facilities around the world rely on WiNG’s flexibility, reliability, and ease of setup to protect their critical assets. The WIFI-TH delivers temperature and humidity data via existing Wi-Fi networks and supports WPA and WPA2-PSK encryption. Though the WiNG-MGR can be standalone for alarm notification and trending, it can integrate into enterprise DCIM or BMS using BACnet, MODbus, or SNMP.

The WiNG-MGR has a line of 900 MHz and 868 MHz RF sensors and transmitters to monitor conditions such as differential air pressure, air velocity, leak detection, analog sensor input (0 VDC to 5 VDC, 0 VDC to 10 VDC, and 4 mA to 20 mA), digital input, 10k2 thermistor, and RDT input 1,000 Ω platinum along with temperature and humidity. RLE’s WiNG wireless has exceptional range and a battery life of up to 12 years to assist in the ongoing protection and visibility of environments for permanent or temporary monitoring solutions.

WiNG wireless is deployed in areas such as datacenters, healthcare, schools, universities, industrial plants, commercial buildings, warehouses, and hot/cold/wet/dry/dirty/clean storage. The WiNG-MGR (gateway) and WiNG-RXT (range extender) can pass data over 1,000 feet away line-of-sight using 900 MHz / 868 MHz RF radio transmission. The WiNG-TH and other WiNG sensors/transmitters communicate up to 600 feet away from the WiNG-MGR or WiNG-RXT with a 98% packet delivery success rate every 10 to 20 seconds. The WIFI-TH is programmed for interval data delivery from 1 to 30 minutes. 7-year battery life can be expected at transmission intervals of 5 minutes and a longer battery life for less critical spaces where 10+ minute data transmissions are acceptable.
